Michael Martin - born in Charleston, SC and raised in Columbia. Michael has spent his entire life involved in music. From a very early age Michael began to learn to play instruments and took a strong intrest in jazz. Throughout his middle and high school career Michael was seen as a prodigy with his talents in creating and perfoming music. When he was just 16 he began working with beats in Fruity Loops. Within a few months Michael mastered the program and was making beats that were considered industry level.

From then on Michael has continued to push himself to master nearly every form of industry level production equipment and software out there. He attends Appalachian State University on scholarship to pursue a degree in Audio Production and Recording. In his years there he has applied his proficient skills in all genres of music and his love of hip hop to produce projects that have been cutting edge and unlike anything ever heard before. Confident and always humble, Michael says "You can never know everything so theres no point in getting big headed. No matter how good I get Im always going to push myself to learn more. You cant stay in one place too long or people will start to catch up."

This is the attitude that has led him to create Magic Beats Productions. A production company dedicated to helping out new artists and saturating commercial hip hop with a sound that will hopefully take it to a new level and still bring it back to its roots.
